What is Florida KidCare?
Florida KidCare is health insurance for children under the age of 19 who do not have insurance. Eligibility for Florida Kid Care is based on income and family size. Florida KidCare covers doctors visits, immunization, dental emergencies, and much more! It includes the following: MEDIKIDS: Children ages 1 through 4. HEALTHY KIDS: Children ages 5 through 18. CHILDREN'S MEDICAL SEVICES NETWORK: Children birth through 18 who have special health care needs. MEDICAID: Children birth through 18. A child who has other health insurance may still qualify for Medicaid.

How Much Do I Pay Each Month For Coverage
There is no charge for Medicaid.
For MediKids, Healthy Kids, and the CMS Network, most families pat just $15 or $20 per month. Monthly premiums depends on your household's size and income. If you do not qualify for subsidized coverage, you may be eligible for the full-pay option.
You may have to pay small charges or co-payments for some services.
